The holidays are near, and many schools celebrate with a holiday shop — a fun, in-school store where children can pick out inexpensive, thoughtful gifts for family and friends. It’s a safe, familiar setting that encourages budgeting, planning, and the joy of giving. Holiday shops are typically run by volunteers and offer gifts for everyone: parents, siblings, grandparents, teachers — even pets! Prices usually range from $0.25 to $15.00, with most items between $3.00 and $8.00.
